we followers of love appear mad.
When love’s centerpoint began to revolve,
the intellect quit the circle.
We saw that the intellect was stunned
before the one bewitched by love.
That rend who wagers all he owns
is never defeated in love’s game.
He has a place set in love’s presence,
having gambled himself away and won God.
